FERNANDA FROES-PRUETT
Fernanda Froes-Pruett is a Brazilian-American Musician (Singer, Songwriter, Bassist, Guitarist, and Music Producer) from São Paulo, Brazil, residing in California, USA, since 2012, where she became known as "The Brazilian Flame".
Fernanda's style blends Brazilian Music, Soul Music, Blues, Acoustic Rock, and Indie Rock.
Her musical influences are eclectic, ranging from Billie Holiday, Joni Mitchell, Joyce Moreno, Rita Lee, and Sade Adu to Lenny Kravitz, Simply Red, and Sting.



Fernanda Froes-Pruett is a natural-born artist who inherited her musical talent from her mother's side of the family, where many of her ancestors and relatives were musicians.
Fernanda was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, one of the largest cities in the world.
She began learning the fundamentals of music, singing, and playing the guitar with her grandfather, a seasoned guitarist. At the age of ten, she got her first bass guitar after meeting Gene Simmons, the bassist from KISS, in person for the very first time.
Fernanda began playing bass in a blues band at the age of thirteen. Later, at fifteen, she started singing and performing in several bands, traveling with them to festivals and events throughout Southeast Brazil.
Fernanda Froes-Pruett moved from São Paulo, Brazil, to California, USA, for the first time in 1993 when she studied at the Musicians Institute (MI) in Hollywood. This experience later led her to attend Santa Monica College in Santa Monica and a UCLA Extension Program in Los Angeles.
